Support the growth and success of the Commercial team by underwriting new and existing business, building strong broker relationships and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll assess risk, identify opportunities and contribute to business development and retention targets.
Key responsibilities:
⭐ Underwrite new and existing commercial insurance business within agreed risk appetite
⭐ Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and key stakeholders
⭐ Identify, discuss and convert new business opportunities
⭐ Support client retention through effective underwriting and service delivery
⭐ Manage and develop an underwriting portfolio while contributing to team objectives
⭐ Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business and customer service goals
What you’ll need:
⭐ Underwriting or insurance industry experience
⭐ Experience working with brokers across insurance products preferred
⭐ CII qualification (or working towards) desirable
⭐ Strong relationship-building and communication skills
⭐ Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
⭐ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
