The OSA Pop Up Shop

We proudly launched our OSA Pop Up Shop in December 2012. As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, OSA Recruitment covers the rent and utility costs of the OSA Pop Up Shop. This means that the shop is FREE to use by small businesses, charities or community schemes on a weekly basis. We just ask that residents either make a donation to a charity or raise awareness for a charity during their time in the shop. Our Pop Up Shop Team oversee the day to day running of the facility which has hosted a huge variety of charities and businesses raising tens of thousands of pounds for those in need. We are still going strong and are fully booked each year nearly 11 years’ on from our launch!

James Colmer Mural at St James

As part of our CSR objectives at OSA Recruitment, we have a focus on the arts. That’s why we were proud to sponsor the recent creation of a mural at St James by James Colmer. This stunning mural that now adorns the stairs up to the café in vibrant jungle themed imagery, took 2 weeks of hard work and dedication to complete. Thank you to James Colmer for creating this wonderful piece of artwork and to Jon Bisson at St James for organising the project.

Art for Guernsey

During 2023, OSA began an exciting sponsorship journey with Art for Guernsey. We are delighted to have been the sole sponsor of the ‘Winter with Gorean’ exhibition at the Mill Street Gallery, showcasing artworks by the incredibly talented watercolourist Eugen Gorean.

David Ummels, founder of Art for Guernsey, says – “We are absolutely thrilled to have OSA Recruitment as a charitable partner for the next 3 years. I feel that there is a strong alignment of ethos between our organisations. Creativity and lateral thinking are such great assets for anybody looking for the next professional opportunity. We are so pleased to see such a well respected member of the recruitment industry is recognising that.”

OSA look forward to seeing what the future holds with our continuing partnership with Art for Guernsey!

Puffin Parade

We had a fantastic time in 2023 donning overalls and painting Barbélotte the puffin for the Puffin Parade and auction. We are incredibly proud to have sponsored Barbs and to have taken part in this brilliant fund raiser for Autism Guernsey and the GSPCA. Our Puffin raised £2200 thanks to Kath McClean’s artistic skills and dedication!

Padel Tournament

In September 2023 OSA Recruitment proudly co-sponsored the charity Padel Tennis tournament raising money for This is EPIC and the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation. Our Managing Director Sophie Gregson took part in the tournament, saying that everyone had a great time and it was a huge success!
