An established construction business is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, managing the financial and contractual aspects of a variety of construction projects while supporting successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities:
⭐ Managing project budgets, cost reporting and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
⭐ Preparing valuations, managing variations and agreeing final accounts
⭐ Administering contracts and supporting claims, commercial risk and compliance
⭐ Working closely with clients, contractors and project teams to support project delivery
⭐ Monitoring subcontractor accounts, payments and commercial performance
What you’ll need:
⭐ Experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
⭐ Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
⭐ Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities
⭐ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software
⭐ A Quantity Surveying or Construction Management qualification would be advantageous
