Provide strategic leadership of the client accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance and accounting operations across a diverse portfolio of trusts, corporate structures and funds.
Key responsibilities:
⭐ Lead and develop the client accounting and bookkeeping teams across jurisdictions
⭐ Oversee financial reporting, quarterly net asset reporting and loan interest certificates
⭐ Manage tax compliance, including Guernsey and UK Corporation Tax, VAT, FATCA and CRS
⭐ Oversee external audits and ensure compliance with GFSC requirements, IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102)
⭐ Drive departmental strategy, process improvement and governance frameworks
What you’ll need:
⭐ ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification
⭐ Extensive experience in client accounting within fiduciary, trust, corporate or fund administration
⭐ Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and tax compliance requirements
⭐ Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
⭐ Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
