Lead the accounting service line for Funds & Corporate clients, providing technical accounting oversight, financial reporting expertise, and leadership across teams in Guernsey and Mauritius within a regulated fiduciary environment.
Key responsibilities:
⭐ Lead and develop the accounting team across multiple jurisdictions
⭐ Review and prepare financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP
⭐ Oversee management accounts, reporting packs and deliverables
⭐ Provide technical accounting guidance to clients and internal teams
⭐ Manage workflow, deadlines and team performance (including KPIs and WIP)
⭐ Ensure compliance with regulatory, AML and internal standards
What you’ll need:
⭐ Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
⭐ Strong experience in financial reporting (IFRS and UK GAAP)
⭐ Experience supervising and developing teams
⭐ Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance environments
⭐ Excellent communication and client relationship skills
⭐ Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
