Eligibility
The OSA Recruitment Referral Scheme (the “Scheme”) is open to individuals who refer a candidate toOSA Recruitment for permanent employment opportunities.
Making a Referral
To qualify for the Scheme, the referral must be made before the candidate has applied for a role, registered with OSA Recruitment independently, or otherwise made contact with us regarding employment opportunities.A referral must be made in one of the following ways:
- Email introduction: The referrer introduces the candidate to OSA Recruitment by email, copying the candidate into the introduction. The referrer must have the candidate’s permission to make the introduction; or
- Candidate introduction: The candidate contacts OSA Recruitment directly and, in their first communication with us, clearly identifies the person who referred them. Please do not send us a candidate’s CV or other personal information without their knowledge and permission.A referral will be treated as having been made on the date OSA Recruitment receives the email introduction or, where the candidate contacts us directly, the date of the candidate’s first communication with us identifying the referrer.
Existing Candidates and Previous Referrals
The referral reward will not apply where, at the time of the referral, the candidate:
- is already registered with OSA Recruitment;
- is already in contact with our team regarding employment opportunities; or
- has previously been referred to OSA Recruitment and remains within another referrer’s Referral Period.
Referral Period
Once an eligible referral has been received and recorded by OSA Recruitment, the candidate will remain attributed to that referrer for a period of 12 months from the date of the referral (the “Referral Period”).
If the candidate is successfully placed by OSA Recruitment into a qualifying permanent position during the Referral Period, the referrer will remain eligible for the £500 referral reward, subject to the candidate successfully completing their probationary period and the other terms of the Scheme.
The candidate must be placed in a qualifying permanent position within the 12-month Referral Period. Their probationary period may end, and the referral reward may be paid, after the Referral Period has expired. If no qualifying placement is made during the Referral Period, the referral will expire.
Qualifying Placements
The £500 referral reward will become payable when:
- an eligible referred candidate is successfully placed by OSA Recruitment into a permanent position with one of our clients during the Referral Period; and
- the candidate successfully completes the probationary period applicable to that role.Temporary, contract and other non-permanent placements do not qualify for the £500 referral reward unless otherwise agreed by OSA Recruitment.
Payment of the Reward
Once the referred candidate has successfully completed their probationary period and OSA Recruitment has confirmed that all eligibility requirements have been met, the referrer will be contacted to arrange payment of the £500 reward.
Probationary periods may vary and are determined by the employment arrangements between the candidate and their employer.
The referrer is responsible for any personal tax liability or other obligations that may arise in connection with receiving the reward.
No Guarantee of Placement
A referral does not guarantee that the candidate will be invited to interview, offered a position or placed into a role.
All referred candidates will be considered in the same way as other candidates and must meet the requirements of the relevant vacancy and recruitment process.
OSA Recruitment does not guarantee that a suitable opportunity will become available during the Referral Period.
Candidate Consent & Privacy
By making a referral, the referrer confirms that the candidate is aware of and has agreed to the introduction to OSA Recruitment.
Referrers should not provide a candidate’s CV or other personal information to OSA Recruitment without the candidate’s knowledge and permission.
Any personal information provided as part of a referral will be handled in accordance with OSA Recruitment’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
Where the candidate contacts OSA Recruitment directly and identifies the referrer, OSA Recruitmentwill record the referrer’s details for the purpose of administering the Scheme.
Changes to the Scheme
OSA Recruitment reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Scheme at any time.
Any amendment, suspension or withdrawal will not affect an eligible referral that has already been received and recorded by OSA Recruitment before the change takes effect. Such referrals will continue to be considered under the terms of the Scheme that applied when the referral was made.
Final Eligibility
Eligibility for the referral reward will be determined by OSA Recruitment in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
Where there is a dispute regarding who made a referral, OSA Recruitment’s records of the first eligible referral received will be used to determine which referrer, if any, is eligible for the reward.
Where there is any uncertainty regarding a referral or eligibility for the Scheme, please contact our team for clarification.
By submitting a referral, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and, where you are introducing the candidate directly, that you have their permission to make the introduction.
