As 2025 draws to a close, we’ve taken the opportunity to pause, reflect, and say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of OSA Recruitment’s journey this year. It’s been a year defined by community, connection, celebration, and meaningful insight, all centred around our unwavering belief that recruitment is above all, about people.
Backing Community Ambition
One of our proudest moments this year was becoming Platinum Founding Partners of Victoria Park, a landmark project for Guernsey sport and community life. For us, this wasn’t just a sponsorship; it was about backing a shared vision around opportunity, inclusion, and pride in our island. Seeing Victoria Park come to life, and looking ahead to major moments like the Muratti, has been a reminder of what’s possible when people work together with purpose.
We also continued our long-standing support of the arts by being the sole sponsor of Art for Guernsey’s exhibition, The Lidded Lands. Supporting creativity, culture, and local talent remains close to our hearts, and this powerful collaboration between artists, poets, and curators beautifully celebrated Guernsey’s deep and ancient roots.
Celebrating Our People
This year marked two extraordinary milestones within the OSA team. In October, we proudly celebrated Nick Graham’s 35 years and Sophie Gregson’s 25 years with the business, a combined 60 years of service and leadership, and passion for people. Through decades of change, from paper files to tech driven processes, what has remained constant is a commitment to relationships, integrity, and doing the right thing.
Listening, Learning, and Leading
Understanding people’s needs sits at the heart of everything we do. Our Student & Early Professional Career Aspirations Survey, conducted earlier this year, gave us invaluable insight into what young islanders really want from their futures. While cost of living and job opportunities remain challenges, we were encouraged to see that around 44% of young people still plan to stay in Guernsey. The findings reinforced the importance of career guidance, visibility of opportunities, and broader pathways beyond traditional routes, conversations we’re committed to continuing with schools, employers, and the wider community.
We were equally encouraged by the results of our Client Survey, which reaffirmed the trust placed in us, with 95% feeling we understand their recruitment needs and 95% believing we deliver on our promises. Feedback like this motivates us to keep raising the bar and strengthening long-term partnerships.
Being Present Where It Matters
Community connection took many forms this year, from delivering hot cross buns and advent calendars, to popping up at Careers Week at TGI, where we loved chatting with students about future possibilities and pathways.
June also marked a poignant moment as we said goodbye to the OSA Pop Up Shop after more than 12 incredible years. What started as a simple idea became a cherished hub for charities, creatives, entrepreneurs, and community groups. While the doors have closed, the impact and the stories will stay with us.
Looking Ahead
As we head into a new year, we feel so grateful for the relationships we’ve built and optimistic about what’s to come. Whether supporting employers, guiding candidates, or backing community initiatives, our purpose remains unchanged.
Thank you to our clients, candidates, partners, and community for trusting us, challenging us, and growing with us.
Here’s to continuing the journey together in 2026.
