After more than a decade of heartfelt service, OSA Recruitment has announced the closure of the OSA Pop Up Shop on Smith Street, bringing to a close a beloved initiative that has helped foster community spirit and opportunity for over 12 remarkable years.
What began as a simple idea from a former member of the OSA team evolved into a vibrant hub of connection, creativity and generosity. The shop opened its doors with a vision to uplift local entrepreneurs, charities, and community groups and over the years, it became so much more. From showcasing homegrown talent and fledgling businesses to giving charities a platform to grow, the Pop Up Shop offered rent-free space and endless encouragement to hundreds of passionate individuals.
The shop’s closure follows the space no longer being available for OSA, marking the end of an era.
“What started as a simple idea turned into something extraordinary,” said Sophie Gregson, Managing Director of OSA Recruitment. “We’re proud to have supported a variety of initiatives over the years and are grateful to everyone who made use of the space and helped create a vibrant presence in the heart of Town.”
To honour its legacy, OSA is inviting past users of the Pop Up Shop to share their stories, reflections, and photos. These contributions will be lovingly gathered and shared on OSA’s website and social media as a tribute to the shop’s lasting impact.
The OSA team extends heartfelt thanks to all who have been part of this journey and hopes that the spirit of collaboration, generosity and community that defined the Pop Up Shop will continue to echo throughout the island.
