Technical Specialist, Insurance


This role focuses on prudential and conduct oversight, with opportunities to apply technical expertise across risk management, capital adequacy, and sector analysis.

Key responsibilities:
⭐ Deliver risk-based supervision, enforcement, and policy support
⭐ Assess licence applications, notifications, and submissions from firms
⭐ Monitor risks affecting the insurance sector and prepare reports/briefings
⭐ Support internal projects, staff development, and process improvements

What you’ll need:
⭐ Strong knowledge of insurance sector regulation and capital rules
⭐ Experience in areas such as financial analysis, risk management, compliance, valuation, or ORSA
⭐ Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
⭐ Ability to demonstrate initiative, pragmatic decision-making, and leadership
⭐ Commitment to continuous professional development
