Guernsey Chest & Heart is in the OSA Pop Up Shop this week, raising awareness of their services and the issue of respiratory and circulatory problems in Guernsey.
Nurses from the Guernsey Chest & Heart Unit will also be offering free blood pressure and weight checks as well as advice about healthy living.
They are in the shop from 10:30 to 14:00 each day.
Guernsey Chest and Heart LBG is a charitable body, primarily concerned with the provision of a free health screening service to the residents of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The objectives of the charity are "the prevention and treatment of and research into respiratory and circulatory diseases".
Since the opening of the medical centre in November 1974, preventative work has been the main area of activity, principally through the health screening programme. Screenings and blood pressure checks are carried out by fully qualified and experienced nurses.
