Christmas Countdown in the OSA Pop up Shop

This November and December marks not only the third year of the OSA Pop-up Shop but this is also two of the busiest months in our calendar. We have some of our favourite residents, old and new, raising money for a variety of local charities and brightening up the high street during the festive season. So remember us when you are doing your Christmas shopping this year and pop in to find something unique for your stocking...

 

3/11 – 8 /11

Rustique supporting Autism Guernsey 

Rustique Guernsey return to the pop up shop bringing with them an exciting selection of locally upcycled products ranging from furniture, pin boards, personalised blackboards to wire mesh memo boards and other articles of wall decor adorned with French and American ephemera graphics. 

Winnoworks selling Guernsey lino prints, and Ampersand with a selection of cutting boards and retro style presents will also be showcasing their wonderful products - it is a real hotbed of creativity.

A percentage of funds raised will be going to the Sunflower Trust. You can even get a nibble and a cup of tea while you shop!

Open 9-3 daily, Saturday 10 - 5pm

 

10/11 – 15/11

Priaulx Baby Foundation

The team will be promoting their latest fundraising campaign 'Build a Brick for The Burrow' to raise £150,000 to purchase accommodation next to Southampton Hospital for the use of local families of children at the hospital.

They will be selling PPBF branded merchandise, e.g. teddy bears, t-shirts, hoodies, etc. Round Chimney Pottery will be holding a baby hand/foot print pottery drop-in session on the Thursday from 10.30am until 2pm, along with selling handmade pottery pieces all week. There will also be the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a prize draw on 16 November. To tie in with The Burrow campaign LovelyPop will be selling handmade toys including Christmas elves and also bunny rabbits and Hoot will be providing handmade wall art.

 

17/11 – 22/11

Road Safety Week 

As the nights get darker make sure that you are taking the right safety precautions to be safe on our roads. The team will be selling goods and giving out advice, so do pop in and be safe on the roads this Winter.

 

24/11 – 29/11

Xmas Crafts Shop

The shop will be full of lots of Christmas craft goodies and delicious things to eat with proceeds going to Frossard Ward instead and Mary's Meals, watch this space for more info...

 

1/12 – 6 /12

Iris and Dora 

Pop up Shop favourites Iris and Dora will be gracing us with their presence during the first week of December selling their beautiful prints on cushions, lamp covers, pictures and cards. They make the perfect Christmas present for your loved ones. A percentage of their takings will also be donated to a local charity.

 

 

8 /12 – 13/ 12

The Ivy Trust/Jute Adore 

Jute Adore really do put together the ultimate Christmas hampers, when we have hosted them before the shop has been absolutely bursting at the seams with beautifully presented bundles of toiletries. If you are struggling to get your Christmas shopping done in time then do Pop in and support this worthwhile cause by spoiling your loved ones. It's that simple!

 

15/12 – 19/12

Island FM 

We are very excited to be hosting Island FM in the OSA Pop up Shop!! They will be recording from our Smith Street premises and asking you to record your very own Christmas song, so pop in for a sing a long! All funds raised will go towards Help A Guernsey Child and we will be providing more details in the coming weeks - but get it in your diary!
