35 years ago, on Wednesday 27th May 1987, Offshore Specialist Appointments, opened its door to the world of recruitment. The founder of the business was David Piesing, and it was first set up to assist with the recruitment of candidates in other sunny offshore jurisdictions. Nick Graham, joined in October 1990 and spent the early part of his career travelling to the BVI, Cayman, Bermuda and Hong Kong. The focus shifted in the mid ‘90s to become more focussed towards Guernsey and the international travel diminished.
As the company evolved, the decision was made in 2009 to change our name to OSA Recruitment, which you all recognise today. With the continued growth of the finance industry the company has grown over the years and we now have a fabulous team of 9 people working to guide people with their career decisions.
We have helped many people over the years and the relationships we have formed are fundamental to the success of OSA but also make our own roles so enjoyable. Celebrating the years and the successes of the business have been the focus this week for our team and we hope that some of the photos have given you a trip down memory lane.
